About the Creator — Mike Bell

I am Mike Bell, a designer based in East Sussex and the founder of Mike Bell Maps. I spent many years working on live events, designing stage builds and providing technical production. When the live events world paused under lockdowns, I turned my energy and experience to something different: transforming music and story history into visual art.

With Mike Bell Maps, I create detailed, transit-style maps that chart studio albums, collaborations and narrative journeys across decades. My first music map - The Fall - went through sixteen versions before it felt right. This dedication exemplifies the level of research, care and attention I bring to every art print.

Each map I offer is grounded in fundamental research: liner notes, archival credits, interviews and fan archives. My tube maps do more than look good. They turn complex histories - of bands, albums, collaborators, even film plots or cultural movements - into clear, beautiful art prints that tell stories.

Whether collected for love of music, film or cultural history, every piece ships globally, carefully produced and packaged, and crafted to last. My aim is always to combine authority, artistry and authenticity so that each map is as trustworthy and meaningful as it is visually striking.
