Shipping policy
Shipping and delivery at Mike Bell Maps
I want your art print to reach you safely, and to make the whole process as clear as possible. Here is how it works.
How my prints are made and sent
Every piece in my collection of discography and film art prints is produced to order in the UK, USA, or Europe, depending on where you are. Each one is a Giclée print on 230gsm premium fine art paper, textured matte, archival and acid-free, so it leaves the printer in perfect condition. Production usually takes 2 to 3 working days (a little longer over a weekend), after which your order is dispatched. I use tracked parcel services wherever suitable, and you will receive a dispatch notification with tracking details and a delivery estimate.
As a guide, allow 7 to 10 days from order to delivery, with an extra 2 days if your order falls on a weekend. I charge for delivery on all orders.
Getting your address right
Please make sure the shipping details you enter at checkout are accurate and complete. If a parcel is sent to an address you have given that turns out to be incorrect or incomplete, I am unable to cover the cost of a replacement, so it is well worth double-checking before you order.
If you spot a mistake, email me at mike@mikebellmaps.com within 24 hours of ordering, and I will do my best to correct it before production begins.
After that, production may already be underway, and I cannot guarantee a change.
Delivery timescales
I aim to get every order to you within the timeframe outlined in the guide above, and always within 30 days. If, for any reason, that is not possible, you are entitled to a full refund. I cannot control delays caused by the courier, customs, or extreme weather, but I will keep you posted if anything seems to be holding up your order.
If your art print arrives damaged
This is rare, because every map is packed carefully, but if it happens, I will put it right. Please check your parcel as soon as it arrives and email me at mike@mikebellmaps.com within 24 hours of delivery, including clear photographs of:
- the shipping label on the parcel,
- the damaged packaging, and
- the damaged print itself.
Those photos and that quick turnaround are what let me make a successful claim with my production partner and get a replacement to you at no cost. Please keep all the packaging until everything is resolved, as it may be needed for the claim.
If your art print does not arrive
If your tracking stalls or your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact me as soon as you think it may have gone astray so I can promptly open an investigation with the carrier.
Where an order is genuinely lost in transit before it reaches you, I will arrange a replacement or refund. This applies to orders sent to the correct address. Parcels that tracking confirms as delivered, or that go astray because of an incorrect or incomplete address, fall outside this.
Customs, duties, and international orders
For orders outside the UK, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees are the responsibility of the recipient. If a delivery is refused or duties are declined and the parcel is returned or disposed of by the carrier, I am unable to offer a refund or replacement under those circumstances.
