What do the tube map art prints show?

Each print plots the complete story of its subject - whether that's a musician's studio discography and every credited collaborator, or a film's complete plot structure - laid out as a tube map-style visual system. Albums or key narrative moments are shown as stations, with musicians or characters connected through clear, logical lines. The whole picture, not just a single moment, makes these prints a thoughtful gift for a music lover in your life.

How accurate is the information?

Every map is built from my own detailed research - official credits, liner notes, session records, interviews, and archival references. When I'm working on a new map, I cross-reference multiple sources before a single line goes down. Accuracy is central to how I work, and every map is checked and refined before it goes to print. I also welcome corrections from fans and musicians - several maps have been updated following direct input from the artists themselves.

What is on the maps, and what is not?

The discography maps plot studio albums only. Live albums, compilations and soundtracks are left off as an editorial rule, right across the range, so the map stays readable and the album sequence stays honest. Musicians are the lines: band members, session players and guests who are credited for playing. Producers only get a line where they are also credited for musical input.

Who designs these maps?

I research and design every map myself, here in the UK. I'm a fan first - each map starts with the music or the film, not a template. This is original, independent work created by one person with an obsessive attention to detail, not mass-produced artwork generated by an algorithm.

What makes these different from a standard music poster?

A standard poster shows you an image. My tube maps show you a system: the relationships, timelines and connections that run beneath an artist's entire career. They're designed to reward close inspection and long-term viewing. Many buyers describe them as both artwork and reference pieces, something they find themselves returning to when choosing gifts for music lovers, aspiring musicians, or fans of a favourite artist.

What quality are the prints?

Every print is produced on archival-grade, acid-free Giclée paper, designed for 100+ years of colour stability. The result is sharp detail, rich colour, and a print made for permanent display rather than short-term decoration. Full paper and frame specifications are here.

What sizes are available?

Paper prints come in three sizes:

• A3 (297 x 420mm, sold in the US, Canada, and Australia as 16 x 12 in),
• A2 (420 x 594mm, sold there as 24 x 18in), and
• A1 (594 x 841mm, sold there as 36 x 24 in).

Each size is available unframed or framed. The Beatles and Levellers maps come in A1 only. A selection of my best-selling maps is also available as a framed canvas. On the denser maps, I’d point you towards A1 if your wall has room, because the branch lines and smaller credits stay legible at that size.

Are framed options available?

Yes. Every design is available as an unframed print or ready to hang in a handmade Italian solid wood frame with plexiglass glazing, fully assembled out of the box. Both options are shown on each product page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, orders ship worldwide, carefully packaged to protect the artwork in transit. I work with local print partners across the UK, Europe, and North America for faster fulfilment. Delivery is free everywhere except Canada, where the cost is calculated at checkout.
