A gift for James Bond fans who assume the most familiar face in the franchise is Bond himself, because this maps all twenty five Eon films and the longest unbroken line belongs to Q. They own the box set already. Six men have played Bond, and one man played Q for thirty six years.

Giclée on 230gsm premium fine art paper, textured matte, archival and acid-free. Available in A2 or A1, with US sizing at 24x18in and 36x24in, unframed or framed. Deeply researched and designed by me in East Sussex.

I drew this one so that each recurring character runs as their own line, calling at every film they appear in, in the style of a classic London Underground map. The stations run chronologically from Dr. No in 1962 to No Time to Die in 2021.

Why this James Bond films map art makes a gift fans keep

Most Bond prints are one poster, one film, one actor. This is the only way I know to see sixty years of the franchise as a single shape.

The interesting lines are not the ones you expect. The full story on your wall.

Characters and actors on the map

Bond's own line runs the full width, changing hands six times along it, from Sean Connery through George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig.

Desmond Llewelyn has the longest continuous line of any actor on the print. He plays Q across seventeen films, from From Russia with Love in 1963 to The World Is Not Enough in 1999, missing only Live and Let Die.

Lois Maxwell is close behind, playing Moneypenny in the first fourteen films from Dr. No through to A View to a Kill.

M is the line that changes most. Bernard Lee holds it for the first eleven films, Robert Brown for four in the 1980s, and Judi Dench from GoldenEye onwards, which makes it three distinct runs rather than one.

Blofeld is drawn as a character line rather than an actor line, because the role passes between several actors across the decades. The Aston Martin threads through as a recurring detail of its own, from its arrival in Goldfinger to the Craig films.

How I make each print

Each one is a Giclée on 230gsm premium fine art paper with a textured matte finish, archival and acid-free, so the colours hold for years. Choose A2 or A1, unframed or framed, ready to hang in a hallway, living room or studio.

Size UK USA / CAN / AUS equivalent Orientation
A2 594 x 420 mm (23 x 16 in) 24 x 18 in Landscape
A1 841 x 594 mm (33 x 23 in) 36 x 24 in Landscape
