In short: A perfect gift for The Fall fans and music lovers, ready to frame and give. My Fall discography tube map art print draws every credited musician as a tube line, with Live at the Witch Trials, Hex Enduction Hour, This Nation's Saving Grace and New Facts Emerge as the stations where those lines converge.

Giclée on 230gsm textured matte fine art paper, archival and acid-free. Available in A2 or A1 (US sizing 24x18 in and 36x24 in), unframed or in a black wooden frame. Hand-researched and designed by me in East Sussex.

I designed my Fall discography map so that every credited musician runs as their own named line, calling out each studio album they played on, drawn in the style of a classic tube map. The stations run chronologically from the 1979 debut Live at the Witch Trials, through the classic-era Hex Enduction Hour and This Nation's Saving Grace, to the final album New Facts Emerge in 2017, with Mark E. Smith as the line running through every record. It is wall art for fans who know the turnover and the genius, and a ready-made gift for anyone who came in through one record.

Why this Fall discography tube map art makes a gift fans keep

If you are buying for a Fall fan, this goes beyond the obvious present. I research every map by hand from liner notes and decades of archives, so the credits are right, which lets the person receiving it follow the band's route across 32 studio albums. It makes a birthday or Christmas gift for the Fall fan in your life, the kind of present that gets framed and kept rather than opened once and shelved.

Contributing musicians on the map

Mark E. Smith is the only continuous line across all 32 studio albums. Steve Hanley's bass and Craig Scanlon's guitar are the longest-serving sideman lines, both running for seventeen albums from 1979 to 1997. Brix Smith appears across two distinct periods of involvement, and Simon Wolstencroft holds the drum chair through much of the late 1980s and 1990s, reflecting the notorious turnover in personnel that defines the band's history.

How I make each print

Each one is a Giclée on 230gsm premium fine art paper with a textured matte finish, archival and acid-free, so the colours hold for years. Choose A2 or A1, unframed or supplied in a black wooden frame, ready to hang as art prints in a hallway, living room or studio.

Size UK USA / CAN / AUS equivalent Orientation
A2 594 x 420 mm (23 x 16 in) 24 x 18 in Landscape
A1 841 x 594 mm (33 x 23 in) 36 x 24 in Landscape
