About Squeeze:

Squeeze is a British rock band that was formed in London in 1974. The band was founded by songwriters Glenn Tilbrook (guitar, vocals) and Chris Difford (guitar, vocals), and over the years they have undergone several line-up changes.

Squeeze gained a following in the UK with their catchy pop-rock songs, and they released their self-titled debut album in 1978. Their early music was characterized by tight vocal harmonies, clever lyrics, and catchy melodies. They quickly gained a reputation for their live performances, which often included elaborate stage sets and elaborate costume changes.

In the early 1980s, Squeeze had several hit singles in the UK and the US, including "Tempted," "Pulling Mussels (From the Shell)," and "Black Coffee in Bed." Their music during this time was characterized by its witty lyrics, catchy hooks, and infectious energy.

Over the years, Squeeze has continued to release new music and tour regularly. They have explored different styles and influences in their music, including folk, country, and reggae. They have released several well-received albums, including "Cradle to the Grave" (2015) and "The Knowledge" (2017).

Throughout their career, Squeeze has been praised for their clever songwriting, their tight musicianship, and their ability to craft catchy and memorable pop songs. They remain a beloved band in the UK and beyond, and their influence can be heard in the music of countless other artists.
