Shades of Deep Purple to =1: The Deep Purple Albums in Order, Mapped

Every Deep Purple studio album from Shades of Deep Purple (1968) to =1 (2024) is mapped across 23 stations - five distinct Mark line-ups plotted as colour-coded tube lines.

Ian Paice on drums is the single constant across all 23 records. Jon Lord runs from the debut through to Abandon (1998) before Don Airey takes the keyboards line from Bananas (2003) onwards.

Rod Evans and Nick Simper anchor the Mark I era across the first three albums. Ian Gillan and Roger Glover join for Mark II - the classic lineup responsible for Deep Purple in Rock (1970), Fireball (1971) and Machine Head (1972). David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes form the Mark III and IV configurations, with Tommy Bolin replacing Ritchie Blackmore for Come Taste the Band (1975). Joe Lynn Turner's single-album tenure on Slaves and Masters (1990) plots as a branch line. Steve Morse joins from Purpendicular (1996) and continues to run through to the present day.

Researched from liner notes, session archives and verified sources, and drawn using professional CAD software, this is a gallery-grade Giclée wall art print for Deep Purple fans and collectors.

Available framed and ready to hang, or as a print only, in A1 and A2 landscape, designed at mikebellmaps.com.
