About Echo & the Bunnymen:

Echo & the Bunnymen are an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1978. The band's original line-up consisted of Ian McCulloch (vocals), Will Sergeant (guitar), Les Pattinson (bass), and Pete de Freitas (drums). The band's music features a mix of post-punk, gothic rock, and new wave influences, and they are known for their distinctive sound and poetic lyrics.

The band released their debut album, "Crocodiles" in 1980, which received positive reviews and was followed by "Heaven Up Here" in 1981, and "Porcupine" in 1983. The band's fourth album, "Ocean Rain" (1984), which featured the hit single "The Killing Moon," was their most successful and widely acclaimed, it was produced by Ian Broudie and was widely praised for its lush orchestrations and mature songwriting.

After a hiatus in the late 1980s, the band reformed in the 1990s and continued to release albums and tour. The band has undergone several line-up changes over the years, but McCulloch and Sergeant have remained constant members throughout the band's history. They are still active and touring.
