Brighton and Hove Albion Football Tube Map: A Journey Through Seagulls' History

The creation of my Brighton and Hove Albion football tube map has once again proven that I'm a master of deadlines, or at least, pushing them to the limit. A regular visitor to my map shop had been asking for this one for a while, and I made a promise: "I'll get the Brighton football tube map done by Christmas." Well, I delivered, just about. It arrived on Christmas Eve, but hey, that still counts.

Brighton and Hove Albion history tube map art print, framed in A1 on a feature wall, with the club from 1901 through the Goldstone Ground, Withdean and the Amex drawn as stations, designed by Mike Bell.

A big thank you to my fellow shopkeepers in The Needlemakers for their feedback and thoughts along the way. Their input helped shape the final design, and I truly appreciate the local support.

Tracing Brighton and Hove Albion's Footballing Journey

This map is more than just a novelty for Albion fans; it's a deep dive into the club's rich and often turbulent history. From Brighton's early days playing at the County Cricket Ground in Hove, through the wartime interruptions, the Goldstone Ground years, the near-collapse of the club, and the long battle to secure a permanent home at the Amex, every major chapter is here.

And, of course, I had to include our European adventure, a dream come true for generations of Brighton fans. I was lucky enough to be in Rome for that unforgettable night against AS Roma, where our hopes soared and then took a hit. But what a journey it's been.

What's on the Map?

The Brighton and Hove Albion football tube map covers every manager, from the club's pioneers to today's tacticians (including those who only briefly held the reins); the rise through the leagues, promotions, relegations, and survival battles; and cup runs and heartbreaks, from near-glory at Wembley to those dramatic FA Cup and playoff moments.

If you're a Brighton fan or know someone who bleeds blue and white, this is a perfect gift. A visual tribute to the club's journey, from humble beginnings to the bright lights of European football.
