Born during the lockdown, these maps were a silver lining for me at a time when my primary gig in show and event design was on pause. They've allowed me to merge my early days as a show tech with my growing passion for data visualization.
Fast forward to today, and I'm balancing two worlds: the world of live shows and the world of these intricate maps. Both are demanding but incredibly rewarding.
Now, onto some important updates. First, let's talk about UK deliveries. I've always aimed to make these maps accessible, which included offering free postage within the UK. However, the rising costs of packing and postage have made it increasingly challenging to maintain this. So, I've had to make the difficult decision to introduce a postage fee for UK deliveries. Please know that I'm not passing on the full brunt of these costs to you; I'll be covering a portion myself. I'm using tracked services to give you a better delivery experience.
But it's not all "take" and no "give." I've got some exciting news for our international fans. I'm thrilled to announce that I'm expanding delivery options to more countries overseas! This means more of you can get your hands on these unique maps, no matter where you are in the world.
I understand that the introduction of postage fees for the UK might be a bit disappointing, and for that, I'm truly sorry. I hope you'll understand that this is a necessary step for the sustainability of this creative endeavour.
