A gift for Fleetwood Mac fans who long ago lost track of which line-up made which record, because this lays all 19 albums out with every credited musician running as their own line. They own Rumours already. This is the other eighteen, explained.
Giclée on 230gsm premium fine art paper, textured matte, archival and acid-free. Produced unframed or framed. Deeply researched and designed by me in East Sussex.
I plot these in CAD software. Every credited musician becomes a transit line, every album becomes a station, and anyone who appears only once gets a branch line of their own.
The stations run chronologically from the British blues of the 1968 debut, through Rumours and Tusk, to Say You Will in 2003.
Why this Fleetwood Mac discography tube map art makes a gift fans keep
No band in this catalogue changes shape as often. Two men run the whole length of the map and almost everyone else arrives, leaves, and in one case comes back years after everybody assumed they had gone for good.
Drawn as lines, the band's history stops being a list of names and becomes something you can follow with a finger. It rewards every closer look.
Contributing musicians on the map
Mick Fleetwood and John McVie are the only two credited on all 19 albums, a span of 35 years. Everything else on the map moves around them.
Peter Green's line is the one that surprises people. It runs through the early blues records, stops, and then reappears twice: once on Penguin in 1973 and again on Tusk in 1979, long after he had left the band.
Christine McVie's line starts earlier than most fans expect. She appears on Mr Wonderful in 1968 and Then Play On in 1969, credited under her own name, Christine Perfect, before joining properly from Kiln House in 1970 and staying to the end.
Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks arrive together on the self-titled 1975 album. Nicks then has exactly one gap in her line: she is absent from Time in 1995.
Bob Brunning has the shortest line on the map. He plays bass on the first album and nothing else, because John McVie replaced him.
Fleetwood Mac in Chicago in 1969 is the strangest station of all, a blues summit that brings Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, David “Honeyboy” Edwards and Walter “Shakey” Horton onto the map for one record each.
Later oddities are worth hunting for. The USC Trojan Marching Band appears on Tusk, Sheryl Crow on Say You Will, and three of the members' children have stations of their own: Lucy Fleetwood, Jessica James Nicks and Molly McVie.

FAQ
Who is on every Fleetwood Mac album?
Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, the only two constants across all 19 records, from 1968 to 2003.
How are the maps drawn?
In CAD software, plotted line by line. Every credited musician is a transit line, every album a station, and one-off contributors branch off the main routes.
Does Peter Green appear after he left the band?
Yes, twice. His line reappears on Penguin in 1973 and again on Tusk in 1979.
When does Christine McVie first appear?
Earlier than most people think. She is credited as Christine Perfect on Mr Wonderful in 1968 and Then Play On in 1969, before joining properly from Kiln House.
Which album is Stevie Nicks missing from?
Time in 1995, the only gap in her line after she joins in 1975.
What is Fleetwood Mac in Chicago?
A 1969 session recorded with Chicago blues musicians including Otis Spann, Willie Dixon and Buddy Guy, which appears on the map as its own crowded station.
What are the framing options?
Unframed, or supplied framed and ready to hang.
