These prints trace the studio discographies of classic 1960s artists, album by album, drawn in the style of a transit diagram. Every one is built from research I have done myself, working through the credits record by record.

Each map shows every studio album as a station and every credited musician as a line running through the records they played on. These are not posters with a band name on them. They are data-driven pieces of wall art that track real contributions over time, so you can follow who played what, when, and where the line-ups shifted underneath the music.
What Is Not on These Maps
Live albums and compilations. I map studio records only, right across the range, which matters more in the 1960s than in most decades because so many of these bands released live records and hits collections at a rate that would swamp the map if I let them on.

These maps suit anyone who already knows the decade well, which is usually the harder person to buy for. A Beatles collector, a psychedelic rock obsessive, or someone working their way into the period for the first time will each find something in one. Why I Created This Series
I started designing these maps because I wanted a way to show band histories that was accurate, dense with detail, and still readable at a glance. Albums in order, musicians tracked across time, no filler, just the credits laid out clearly. The 1960s felt like the right place to begin because so much changed so fast. The Beatles rewrote what an album could be, and The Byrds, The Kinks and the rest were not far behind. Those stories deserved something better than a list.
