About Nick Cave:

Nicholas Edward Cave is an Australian singer, songwriter, poet, and actor. He was born on September 22, 1957, in Warracknabeal, Victoria, Australia. Cave is best known for his work as the lead vocalist of the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, which he formed in 1983. He has also been involved in a number of other musical projects and collaborated with a number of artists over the course of his career.

Cave's recording career began in the late 1970s and early 1980s as part of the post-punk band The Birthday Party. The band was known for its dark and intense sound, which drew influences from punk, gothic rock, and blues music. After the breakup of The Birthday Party in 1983, Cave formed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and began releasing albums with the new group.
