Gifts for Blondie and Debbie Harry Fans – A Music Map of Every Album

A Gift for Blondie Fans

For fans of Blondie and Debbie Harry's solo career, my hand-researched music map lays out decades of genre-crossing releases in one image. From the sharp pop of Parallel Lines to the Chic-powered oddity of KooKoo, all 16 studio albums are stations on a tube-style print: eleven under the Blondie name and five under Debbie Harry's.

Blondie discography map art print showing every studio album as a station and Debbie Harry's solo work as a connecting tube line, designed by Mike Bell at mikebellmaps.com.

From the New Wave run to Harry's often-overlooked solo material, the map connects every credited musician, bandmate and session player involved. Interleaving the band and solo records by release date is what makes the shape readable, because Chris Stein turns out to be on all 16.

Why It Works as a Blondie Gift

  • All 16 studio albums, band and solo, from Blondie in 1976 to Pollinator in 2017.
  • Every credited musician tracked as a named line, with one-off contributors as branch lines.
  • Hand-researched and drawn by me from liner notes and session archives, not generated.
  • Detail that rewards a fan who already owns the records, which is usually the hard person to buy for.

Albums Featured on the Map

Eleven Blondie studio albums, from the 1976 debut through Parallel Lines (1978), Autoamerican (1980), No Exit (1999) and on to Pollinator (2017), interleaved by release date with Debbie Harry's five solo records: KooKoo (1981), Rockbird (1986), Def, Dumb and Blonde (1989), Debravation (1993) and Necessary Evil (2007).

Harry's career resists easy categorisation: punk scene originator, pop star, solo risk-taker. Laying the two strands out as one sequence is the only way that comes across.

What Is Not on the Map

Live albums, compilations and soundtracks. The map plots studio records only, which is an editorial rule I apply right across the range.

More Than Just a Print

Each album sits chronologically, with coloured lines for band members and studio collaborators. Clem Burke's drumming runs almost the full length. Nile Rodgers, Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson of Chic all appear on KooKoo and nowhere else. Robert Fripp plays on Parallel Lines and on no other record in the sequence, which makes his one of the shortest and most surprising branch lines on the early half of the map.
